Guizhou Jiaotong College is approved by the People's Government of Guizhou Province, registered by the Ministry of Education of PRC. There are three campuses of College,including the Changling and Yangguan campuses located in the northwest of Guiyang City, and Qingzhen campuses. Campus of​​ 1550 acres is "Top Ten Campus" and "Garden-style Campus" in Guizhou province. College has built teaching building, training buildings, library information building, student apartments, standard sports field, as well as first-class teaching facilities, including professional laboratories, multimedia network lab., language lab., computer center and training center etc.. College has seven departments (Department of Road and Bidge Engineering, Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Architectural Engineering, Department of Management Engineering, Department of Information engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Department of Logistics Engineering), two associate departments (Department of Basic Teaching and Department of Adult Education),an institute(Guizhou Communications Technician) and a school (Driver Training School). College has set up a total of 41 professional (direction), specially specify in Road and Bridge Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Engineering Machinery Control Technology, Road Supervision, Toutism,Computerized Accounting, Computer Engineering Technology. College has more than 14000 full-time students who are from more 20 provinces or municipalities.
