1. About Guizhou Communications Polytechnic Guizhou Communications Polytechnic(GZCP) is a higher education institution of science and technology featuring transportation. GZCP was founded in 1958 and has been successfully selected as the only "High-level Higher Vocational School Construction Unit with Chinese Characteristics" in Guizhou in 2019. GZCP now has two campuses in Qingzhen and Yangguan. GZCP has 9 teaching departments, namely, Department of Road and Bridge Engineering, Department of Automobile Engineering, Department of Management Engineering, Department of Construction Engineering, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Department of Logistics Engineering, Department of Rail Engineering and Department of Basic Courses Teaching. GZCP offers 29 majors, with emphasis on two national high-level professional groups, namely road and bridge engineering technology, and automobile operation and maintenance technology (intelligent transportation in the western mountains).
2.Departments and Majors for Enrollment There are eight departments planning to enroll international students. 2.1.Department of Road and Bridge Engineering The majors offered include Road and Bridge Engineering Technology, Road Maintenance and Management, Safety Technology and Management, Underground and Tunnel Engineering Technology. 2.2. Department of Automobile Engineering The majors offered include Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, New Energy Vehicle Technology, Automobile Intelligent Technology. 2.3. Department of Management Engineering The majors offered include Tourism Management (Tourism Management), Tourism Management (Flight Service), Tourism Management (Hotel Management), Art Design (Visual Communication Design ), Art and Design (Ceramic Design and Craft), Song and Dance Performance. 2.4. Department of Construction Engineering The majors offered include Construction Engineering Technology,Civil Engineering Inspection Technology,Municipal Engineering Technology. 2.5. Department of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering The majors offered include Application Technology of Intelligent Construction Machinery, Mechanical and Electronic Integration Technology, Machine Manufacturing and Automation. 2.6. Department of Information Engineering The majors offered include Computer Network Technology, Internet of Things Application Technology, Big Data Technology. 2.7. Department of Logistics Engineering The majors offered include Modern Logistics Management, Big Data and Accounting, Marketing. 2.8. Department of Rail Transit Engineering The majors offered include Urban rail transit communication signal technology, Urban Rail Transit Mechanical and Electrical Technology, Urban Rail Transit Operation Management.

3.The Admission Requirements for International Applicants 3.1.Basic Requirements (1)Non-Chinese citizen in good health; (2)Applicants must have a high school diploma or college degree; (3)Applicants must respect costumes, regulations and laws in China, and have non-criminal record. 3.2.Language Requirements (1)Applicants without any HSK test report must learn Chinese language courses for beginner. All the courses are entirely in Chinese language so that a good command of Chinese language is crucial for a successful study at GZCP. (2)Applicants who have passed HSK-3 or HSK-4 can take professional courses. International students who have passed HSK-3 or HSK-4 have an opportunity to obtain scholarship. 3.3. 3.4. Application Procedures Scan all materials mentioned above and send them to the Intentional Affairs Office E-mail:gzjzywsb@163.com. The college initially screens the application materials of students, and qualified students will participate in interviews and other assessments. We will inform you the result by E-mail and send the admission notice and JW202 to you if you are admitted.
4. Expenses
GZCP will offer a partial or full scholarship to excellent international students who have passed HSK3, HSK4 or above. All students who receive the scholarship must pay tuition, accommodation and insurance fees at the time of enrollment. The College will issue scholarships and other grants based on the results of the scholarship application or the student's first semester grades and performance.
5. Chinese Visa, Physical Examination and Proof of Residence 5.1. The applicants who have been admitted should apply for a study visa in China at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate. Applicants should provide your passports, admission letters, visa application form for foreign students studying abroad in China and the foreigner's physical examination record. All materials mentioned above should be original documents and students should keep these materials for entry into China. 5.2. After registration, the applicants should get a physical examination at the local health hospital. Make sure to bring your passports and the original foreigner physical examination record. 5.3. Within 30 days from the date of entry into China, the applicants should apply for a residence permit at the local police station with your passport, admission letter, visa application form for foreign students studying abroad in China and foreigner physical examination record. 5.4. Students need pay for the visa fee and physical examination fee in China.
