In the afternoon of December 2nd,2015, the final round of the annual legal knowledge contest was held in the North Campus. There were eight teams attending the final round on behalf of each department.
Zhang Jing, the party secretary of our college, Wei Yali, the chief of basic teaching department, Li Xiaoyan, the deputy director of party office, Liu Wenhua, the deputy chief of security office, Feng Ping, the party branch secretary of Mechanical and Electrical Department and Zan Qianjiang, the party branch secretary of Information Technology were present at the event. There were 300 faculties and students attending to this contest. In her remarks , Wei Yali said that the purpose of the legal knowledge contests was to create a good environment to study, comply with and use law in daily life. She called for students to consciously practice the socialism core values and be a positive persons.
The final round of contest was novel and practical and it also interluded the interactive talk with the audience who then answered the questions actively .
After the fierce competition, the technician institute won the first prize with the highest point of 220. The department of mechanical and electrical engineering, together with the department of construction engineering, won the second prize; the department of management engineering won third prize and the rest of other departments won the outstanding awards.
The final round, which was using live questions and answers, included three kinds of questions, namely required questions, quick response questions and risk questions, mainly covering constitution, civil law, labor law and other laws and regulations as well as the knowledge of socialism core values.
This legal knowledge contest has been successively held for five years and it was also one part of a series of activities for the 80th anniversary of the December 9th Movement.
