The Wolong Mountain Practical Training Tunnel is built into an actual mountain. It's designed and constructed to expressway standards, stretching 80.18 meters in total. This includes a 7-meter open-cut section at the entrance and a 73.18-meter underground tunnel. The tunnel is 10.25 meters wide and 5 meters high. It's a key training site for core skills in tunnel engineering and safety courses.
The tunnel is divided into two main training areas: the first 42 meters are for tunnel operation training, and the last 38.18 meters are for tunnel construction training. Together, these areas have 11 training zones with 69 different training projects.
