Department of Management Engineering, established in 2003, has developed a distinctive interdisciplinary program that uniquely merges transportation engineering with cultural tourism development – the only such integrated curriculum in Guizhou Province. By combining technical expertise in mountain infrastructure with innovative approaches to heritage destination management, our "Dual Excellence" philosophy prepares students through hands-on industry collaborations, practical training at UNESCO-designated cultural sites, and professional certification programs at our provincial Tour Guide Training Center. This synthesis of engineering precision and cultural preservation enables the creation of sustainable tourism solutions specifically adapted to Guizhou's challenging terrain, graduating professionals equally adept at managing transportation systems and developing culturally-sensitive tourism initiatives.
